HOLY FRIDAY

Holy Friday is a day of great importance for Christians around the world. On this day, we commemorate the Passion and Death of Jesus, and reflect on the meaning of his sacrifice on the Cross. It is an opportunity to remember God’s unconditional love for humanity and to renew our commitment to follow his teachings.

Pope Francis stated in one of his Homilies: “The Cross is the symbol of the love of God, who does not give up and who always seeks us.” With these words, the Holy Father reminds us that, despite the difficulties we may face in our lives, God’s love is stronger and always is there for us.

On this Holy Friday, it is important to remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross and to meditate on the mission that each of us has in building a more just and compassionate world. As the Holy Father also reminds us, “each of us has a responsibility to care for others and to build a more humane, just and fraternal world.”

To help us reflect on these teachings, we have prepared a special podcast for this Holy Friday. In this podcast, we comment on the Gospel, exploring the teachings of Jesus and their importance in our lives, and reflect on how we can follow his example in today’s world. Listening to this podcast, we hope you can find the inspiration and guidance you need to follow your path to holiness.

In conclusion, this Holy Friday is an opportunity to reflect on God’s love and Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross. Let us remember that God’s love and mercy are always present in our lives, and that each of us has the mission to build a better world. As Pope Francis said, “May God’s love and mercy guide us on our path to holiness.”
