On 23 September, Sisters Mª Carmen Martín and Blanca Flor Guerrero, General Councillors, are taking part in the II Hospital Identity Days, organised by the Province of Portugal at the Casa de Saúde da Idanha, under the theme: “Quem somos? Lugares inacabados…”. It is a space for encounter, formation, dialogue and learning for those who identify with Hospitality: Sisters, collaborators, volunteers and others. The event offers an opportunity to deepen our understanding of identity as a process that is continuously constructed through our relationship with others. The key words accompanying this journey are fragility, relationship, language and bridge.
The Province of Portugal is committed to strengthening institutional identity and culture. The aim is not only to address theoretical concepts, but also to encourage a practical and experiential approach. The II Hospital Identity Days also bring together collaborators and Sisters from other circumscriptions: Spain, England and Italy.
On 24 September, a new and complementary session will take place. The main objective of this event is to deepen our understanding of identity and foster synergy among the different structures of the Congregation, so that the experience developed by the Province of Portugal is not merely an example to learn about, but a process from which to learn and which can inspire new initiatives in other areas of the Congregation.
