Testimony of fidelity and faith: perpetual professions in India and the Philippines

August 15 and 24, 2024 marked moments of great joy for our hospital community, as two of our sisters of the Philippine Delegation have taken a momentous step in their journey of faith and hospital service by making their perpetual profession.

The sisters who have celebrated this commitment are:

  • Sr. Angeline Pequero – Perpetual Profession on August 15, 2024 at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, Pasig City, Philippines.
  • Sr. Shairilin Khongsdier – Perpetual Profession on August 24, 2024 at St. Dominic Savio Parish, Shillong-Meghalaya, India.

These celebrations, held in the Philippines and India, represent a significant milestone in the lives of our sisters who have decided to consecrate their lives to the service of God and the mission of hospitality. Perpetual profession is a sacred commitment and a profound witness to God’s faithfulness and the unconditional love He pours out on those He has chosen.

With great gratitude, we raise our prayers to the Lord for the gift of our sisters’ vocation. We pray for their perseverance in this mission and that they may continue to be a living witness to the love of Christ in the world.

We recall with emotion the words of our Founder St. Benedict Menni at this special moment for the Congregation: “Blessed a thousand times are the souls whom the Lord calls with such great mercy. Esteem this grace of vocation as the greatest treasure and the most precious pearl that the Lord bestows on you.”
