The International Union of Superiors General (UISG), the religious of Latin America (Clar) and the consecrated women of the United States (LCWR) have organized for today, Thursday, July 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Rome time, Italy) , a moment of worldwide prayer, online, under the title “I can’t breathe”, for those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Sister Anabela Carneiro tells us about this.

Through this link, from the Zoom platform, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89788103343, everyone, but above all men and women religious around the world, are invited to pray together, remain silent and listen to three testimonies from Latin America, the United States and India, one of the areas of the world most affected today by the Covid-19 pandemic. “Hearing the whispers of the poor suffering” is the invitation of the organizers.

“It is an initiative in communion with all the other actions that have been carried out and that are still carried out today in the Church, and in the whole world, with the aim of asking for help for the people who suffer as a consequence of this pandemic. In particular, we have proposed joining the United States and the countries of Latin America, which are currently suffering the consequences of this pandemic with such force. ”
