I PHILIPPINE DELEGATION ASSEMBLY: FEBRUARY 26, 2013

On this day, we continued with our work in the Assembly. We started by reading the minutes of the meeting of yesterday by Sr. Juliana Pedro.

After, we went to our small groups, then to the big group to share about the positive aspects on the life and mission of the delegation, what we are called for, and the challenges that we discover. Sr. Anabela added in the sharing of the sisters two important aspects to consider, 1) the deepening of the charism and identity, and 2) giving emphasis on the presence of the sister in the mission, her significance and her charismatic and evangelical witnessing.

Then, it was followed by the presentation of the financial report of the Delegation from 2010-2012 given by Sr. Eufracia Moscoso, the Bursar of the Delegation, of which few things were clarified.

After, the financial report, we went back again to our small groups for sharing about how we value the financial/economic report of the Delegation and to make proposals for the future, and then shared to the big group.

Afterwards, Sr. Anabela presented to us the synthesis of the sisters contributions to the questionaires sent to us earlier on which will be helpful in planning for the future, also in the light of the 20th General Chapter Document.

At 7:00 pm, we said the Evening Prayer in gratitude to God for this day. At 9:00 pm, we continued with the presentation of the report from other communities and we closed the day at 10:00 pm.  Then, Sr. Asuncion oriented us of what will be the program for tomorrow. We ended up the day with a song dedicated to Mary, Our Mother.
