Eucharist of the Renewal of Vows of Junior Sister Teresa Nguyễn Thị Thanh Tâm

“When the days were completed for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord” (Lk 2:22).

At 5:00 a.m., in the solemn and prayerful atmosphere of the Mass on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple, Junior Sister Teresa Nguyễn Thị Thanh Tâm renewed her vows, thus continuing her journey of consecration and fully entrusting her life to God according to the charism of the Congregation.

The Eucharist was presided over by Father José Nguyễn Tuấn Vũ, a priest of the Salesian Congregation (Don Bosco), and was celebrated in the chapel of the Congregation of the Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Saint Benito Menni Community in Đông Hải. Present at the celebration were the sisters of the Vice-Provincial Government, the sisters of the Saint Benito Menni community, two sisters from the Đáp Khê group, as well as the young residents and the patients of the Thiên Thần Center.

The renewal of vows of Sister Teresa Thanh Tâm was a generous response to God’s love and, at the same time, a source of joy and hope for the entire community present.

The Eucharist concluded in a spirit of thanksgiving and communion. The community lifted up its prayers that Sister Teresa Nguyễn Thị Thanh Tâm may always remain faithful to the vocation she has received, grow daily in spiritual life, and be a living sign of God’s love in the world.
