Direct on Instagram for the International Day of People with Disability

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

On December 3rd we celebrate, one more year, the International Day of People with Disabilities. At Sister Hospitallers, we join the world motto established by the OMS “One day for all”, since we consider that it is aligned with the work that our institution carries out around the world, in this area.

With this motto we want to reflect the growing acceptance that disability is part of the human condition. Almost all of us will experience a temporary or permanent disability at some point in our lives. Despite this, few countries have adequate provisions to fully meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Direct on Instagram with Inmaculada Garrido

From the General Service of Communication of Sisters Hospitallers we have created a weekly campaign, on the occasion of this International Day of People with Disabilities.

It is a series of actions that we will share in our corporate RRSS throughout the days; and that we will end with a direct on Instagram, the same day, December 3.

For this direct, the guest will be Inmaculada Garrido, director of our special education school, of the Purísima Concepción Foundation, located in Granada (Spain).

The initiative will take place at 3:30 p.m. (Spanish time); and it will talk about the capacities of people with functional diversity, as well as the care and educational work that our Institution does in this area.
