Our World Mental Health Day 2023 initiative was recognized with an award of merit at “The DeRose-Hinkhouse Memorial Awards” organized by the Religion Communicators Council of the United States.

#Tienesunacitaconlasaludmental was recognized in the category of Social Media – Series, and its objective was to make visible one of the greatest enemies against people’s wellbeing: silence.

The campaign, promoted on social networks in the days leading up to October 10, World Mental Health Day, sought to show the need for many people to see a specialist and, above all, to take care of all aspects of their health through different types of data showing, for example, that one in four people will have a mental disorder in their lifetime.

At Sisters Hospitallers for more than 143 years our mission has been to serve patients with professionalism and hospitality. Annually, we help more than 820,000 patients and families to embrace their illness and find meaning in their pain.

It is with great joy that we celebrate this award, which encourages us to continue working with commitment on behalf of mental health.
