Christmas 2024: A Message of Hope and Hospitality from our Superior General

Christmas is a time of light, hope and renewal. Each year, we celebrate the birth of Christ as a time to strengthen our faith and our commitment to others. This 2024, Christmas has a special meaning for the Hospitaller Family as we prepare for the Jubilee of 2025 under the theme “Pilgrims of Hope”.

In her Christmas message, Sr. Idilia Carneiro, Superior General of the Sisters Hospitallers, invites us to live this time as an opportunity to walk together towards a future filled with light and hospitality.

Sr. Idilia reminds us that, as Sisters Hospitallers, we are also pilgrims of hope in our daily mission. With each small gesture of hospitality, we contribute to building a world closer to the Kingdom of God.

In her message, she encourages us that the spirit of Christmas may strengthen us in our mission and that the Jubilee of Hope may be a source of inspiration to move forward with faith and confidence.

The Jubilee of 2025 is a time of grace and renewal for the whole Church. Under the motto “Pilgrims of Hope”, we are invited to walk together, to share the light we carry in our hearts and to extend it to the whole world.

From the Hospitaller Family, we wish that this Christmas be an occasion to renew hope and strengthen the bonds that unite us. May the light of Christ illuminate your path and fill you with peace and joy.
