Social Inclusion Congress in Viena

The Social Inclusion Congress, promoted by the Social Inclusion Working Group of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God and the Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be held in Vienna on 15 and 16 June, to share experiences on how the services of both Congregations have grown.

The Social Inclusion Working Group is part of the Europe Commission, chaired by Brother Joaquim Erra, General Councillor of the OHSJD. Its mission is to promote the exchange of knowledge, initiatives, and joint planning of the European Provinces in the field of social inclusion.

This Working Group understands the commitment to work for social inclusion through accompaniment to prevent, correct, or alleviate problems related to the interaction between people, taking into account its two dimensions: their functional autonomy and integration/relationships.

With this in mind, the following topics will be discussed at the Congress:

➡️ Innovation and inclusion

➡️ Stigma and self-stigma

➡️ Art and theatre as vehicles for inclusion

➡️ Self-determination and inclusion

From Sisters Hospitallers, we celebrate this great event for social inclusion and we invite you to follow it live through the following link https://www.streamingserver.at/20230616-congressinclusion/.
