#ViralizingSolidarity is a campaign launched by the Benito Menni Foundation, of Sisters Hospitallers, to curb the Covid-19 crisis in the countries of southern Africa and Asia.

Although the number of confirmed cases and deaths from the coronavirus remains relatively low in these countries in relation to Europe and America, the truth is that the fragility of the health system and the shortage of essential instruments such as respirators, makes the situation be alarming. Furthermore, due to the global economic crisis that the pandemic has generated, more and more people are at risk of social exclusion and destitution, exacerbating a situation that was already economically and socially precarious in itself.

Our centers in Africa and Asia have difficulties

The Sisters Hospitallers Health Centers continue to carry out their activities, with many restrictions and having adopted very rigorous prevention protocols, since it is essential that patients continue with their treatment. However, day by day they find it very difficult to buy the basic hygiene and prevention materials, and they need collaborations to continue helping the most impoverished patients with food purchases.

We know that the time to help the countries in Africa and Asia is now: we need to stop the spread of the pandemic and its most devastating consequences. From the Benito Menni Foundation and Sisters Hospitallers we dedicate our efforts to increase aid to these countries and encourage solidarity to “viralize”, because we must all come out of this crisis.

Collaborate!

If you want to collaborate and help to stop the Covid-19 crisis in this places, please make a donation, with the concept Covid-19, to the account of the Benito Menni Foundation: Banco Santander: IBAN ES87 0049 1834 1921 10189196.

Also you can do it through this link: https://sistershospitallers.org/donate/make-a-one-off-donation/

The money raised will be sent entirely to the Sisters Hospitallers centers in Africa and Asia for the purchase of sanitary protection material, hygiene products, thermometers and food for the neediest patients.
