Monday 8th December

On Monday 8th December, coinciding with the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, we begin the day with in the Morning Prayer followed by the Eucharist.

After a group dynamic which helped us to know each other better, Sister Anabela Carneiro, Superior General, opened the meeting with a welcoming address, with this she encouraged us to live our vocation with joy and keep alive the light of hospitality in the African continent. Read welcoming address

The rest of the day was dedicated to the presentation of the various realities of the Congregation in the different countries of Africa. Knowing more about the communities and the apostolic work that we performed has enriched us all and at the same time, that brought us closer to each other in order to continue seeking together the response to the challenges that we face today.

During this presentation Dr Mampunza, a psychiatrist, has been among us, and with his comments, he pointed out some aspects which need to be taken into consideration in the future.
