Do You Feel Called to Serve?

What Does It Mean to Be a Sister Hospitaller?

The vocation of hospitality is about embarking on an adventure with Jesus—it is a calling that draws you in and transforms your life.
It is an invitation to be moved by the suffering of the sick and to respond with closeness, listening, understanding, care, service… in a word, HOSPITALITY!

The vocation of hospitality does not hinder the development of your personality.
On the contrary, it fosters it—fully enhancing all your qualities and potential as a person. Over time, it leads you to identify more deeply with Jesus: with His way of thinking, loving, and desiring.

From you, young person, we hope for sincerity, a passion for teamwork, and a heart that is sensitive to the sick and vulnerable.

If you have a deep desire to clarify what you are feeling through prayer, we invite you to come and get to know us.

A vocation that enhances who you are

Vocational Journey

What matters most in any formation journey is discerning and discovering that what Jesus wants from each young person is, above all, their friendship. Formation in religious life is meant to guide and prepare young women who feel called to follow Jesus Christ in religious-hospital life for their definitive commitment to God. This process begins with an initial stage called the aspirancy, in which the young woman, interested in getting to know the Congregation, takes her first steps and begins the discernment process through concrete means.

Aspirancy

Before the first formal stage of formation, the goal of the aspirancy is to get to know the Congregation.
After the aspirancy, the journey continues with three formation stages that progressively lead to the goal of fully living out the vocation of hospitality.

This stage is intended to foster full maturity—human, Christian, and hospitalarian—in view of making a definitive commitment to Christ through perpetual profession. It lasts five years.

When this phase is completed, the initial stages of training end and we move on to what we call lifelong training because it lasts a lifetime.
