Over these days, the canonical visitation to the community and the center of Albese took place, an experience lived in a deeply family-like atmosphere marked by closeness and communion. The visit made it possible to share in the daily life of the center, becoming part of its rhythm and accompanying, with interest, care, and prayer, the development of this significant time for the community.
Within this context, days of encounter and joy were experienced, also highlighted by the visit of the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Milan. Sisters, collaborators, patients, and family members actively took part, expressing their closeness and gratitude, and accompanying the Superior General during her visit to the different units of the center.
The canonical visitation stood as a visible sign of unity and shared commitment to the project of service to the sick. For the community of sisters, it was an opportunity to renew the joy of the hospital vocation and to take on, with responsibility and hope, the challenge of the revitalization process being promoted throughout the Congregation, both on a personal and communal level, and in its mission.
Within this framework, an Eucharistic celebration was also held at the center on the occasion of the World Day of the Sick, during which the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick was administered to a large group of patients. The entire community took part, accompanying and supporting this moment of special grace.
The response of the staff, the sick, and their families—marked by interest, closeness, and active participation—was received with gratitude and surprise, confirming that this path of renewal and service is a shared horizon, called to respond to today’s needs through an attitude of dedication, commitment, and hope.
