Hospitality experience in Málaga

Under the motto “Lift up your eyes, pilgrims of life”, a group of young people from different parts of Spain is taking part in a hospitality experience at our Málaga House from 23 to 30 August.

This initiative aims to bring young people closer to the reality of those who experience situations of particular vulnerability, a reality that often remains hidden or goes unnoticed. Hospitality invites us to stop, to lift up our eyes and to recognise the faces of so many brothers and sisters who need closeness, listening and accompaniment. It is a time to be moved by their stories and to discover that encounter transforms the lives of both those who welcome and those who are welcomed.

During these days, the participants will embark on a journey of encounter, service and reflection, discovering God’s presence in their own stories and in the lives of the people they meet. It will also be an opportunity to learn about and share in the hospitality charism that inspires our communities and apostolic works, lived out each day by sisters, collaborators, volunteers and lay people committed to the mission.

We wish everyone a fruitful and enriching experience among us. We would also like to thank all those who have prepared and are accompanying this gathering. As a hospitality family, let us join them on this journey through our prayer and closeness, asking that this experience may awaken hearts that are sensitive to human suffering and committed to building a culture of Hospitality, hope and encounter.
