THREE JUNIOR SISTERS RENEW THEIR VOWS DURING EVENING PRAYER
In an atmosphere of thanksgiving and fraternal communion, on 13 August 2026, at the San Benito Menni Community of the Vice-Province, the renewal of vows of three junior Sisters took place during Evening Prayer: Maria Vũ Ngọc Như Uyên, Anna Hoàng Thị Thơm and Anna Đỗ Thị Mỹ Hương.
Three Sisters from the General Government were present: Sister Maria Begoña Pérez, Vicar General; Sister Maria Carmen Martín, General Councillor; and Sister Maria Antonia Guerra, General Treasurer; as well as Sister Teresa Nguyễn Thị Kim Anh, Superior of the Vice-Province, the Sisters of the Vice-Provincial Government and the San Benito Menni Community, together with the Superiors of the different communities and other Sisters who were present for the meeting scheduled for the following day.
In the presence of the Sisters, Sister Maria Begoña Pérez received the renewal of vows of the three junior Sisters, who once again renewed their commitment to living the evangelical counsels, generously reaffirming their self-giving to God and their desire to faithfully follow Christ in the Hospitaller vocation.
The renewal of vows is a significant moment in the journey of consecrated life: an opportunity to strengthen the decision to remain faithful to the call received and to renew one’s self-giving, welcoming God’s grace in order to live generously the mission of serving and accompanying the most vulnerable, according to the charism and spirituality of the Congregation.
After the rite, the patients cared for at Thiên Thần Centre also joined the Sisters for a fraternal dinner. It was a simple yet meaningful moment in which everyone shared in the joy of the Sisters celebrating their special day and the renewal of their vows, expressing the beauty of fraternity and the Hospitaller spirit: being present, sharing and welcoming one another with love.
RENEWAL OF VOWS IN CIEMPOZUELOS: ONE “YES” TO THE HOSPITALLER VOCATION
On 14 August, in Ciempozuelos (Madrid), Mother House, the Hospitaller Family also joyfully celebrated the renewal of vows. This moment follows the celebration held the previous day in Vietnam, highlighting the richness and diversity of the different realities in which the Hospitaller vocation is lived.
In different places and contexts, the renewal of vows expresses the desire to continue responding faithfully to the call received and to renew one’s self-giving to God in the service of the most vulnerable. These are moments of thanksgiving for the journey undertaken and, at the same time, of trust in the future, welcoming the grace needed to continue living the charism of Hospitality.
The celebrations of these days remind us that, both in Vietnam and in Ciempozuelos, one and the same “yes” unites our Sisters in a shared vocation, sustained by prayer, fraternity and the desire to continue making God’s mercy present through Hospitality.
