At Sisters Hospitallers, we celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by reaffirming a truth at the heart of our mission: it is not about “them” and “us.” We are part of one diverse community, where each person brings something essential and where our common ground is the dignity every one of us deserves.
This year we launched the campaign “We Belong”, a call to view disability from a deeper and more human perspective. The main message of this edition is clear and challenging: “Inclusion is not celebrated in a day. It is built together, every day.”
The campaign video captures this conviction through everyday gestures and words that speak for themselves: respect, joy, and life. These expressions reflect what happens daily in our centers, where encounters transform, accompaniment humanizes, and community grows because everyone contributes something unique.
Sharing who we are.
Aa Sisters Hospitallers, we believe that disability does not define a person; what defines us is our capacity to live together, to share, and to transform reality together. Here, we all serve, we all grow. Diversity is not only accepted; it is celebrated as a richness that strengthens the whole community.

Throughout our mission, accompanying people with disabilities has taught us to see with greater openness, to create spaces where every voice has a place and every life can flourish. That is why today we renew our commitment to building environments where no one is left aside and where hospitality is the foundation of every relationship.
Because we are part of a community built by all. And when we share who we are, inclusion stops being a date on the calendar and becomes a way of living.
