👉We are a Congregation that follows Jesus the Good Samaritan, living in community, as free women —passionate about life, united by love, prayer and service.
👉We’d like to share with you part of the testimony of Léontine Judith Ngo Mbock, General Councillor, a native of Cameroon, who tells us in first person what it is like for her to be a Sister and a Hospitaller.
1️⃣ What made you decide to consecrate yourself to God and to the service of others through this vocation? “The awareness of His infinite love for me and for humanity (…) To respond to such love, I found no other way than to allow myself to be totally consecrated to Him”.
2️⃣ How do you see your role as a Sister Hospitaller in today’s society and how do you feel about being able to help people in need? “I am fulfilled and feel rewarded as a woman consecrated in hospitality, and moreover, I consider myself privileged to be the heart, hands and feet of the Lord Jesus, able to go where his sons and daughters need hospitality and hope.
3️⃣ What advice would you give to someone who is considering following this vocation and consecrating themselves to God through the Congregation of Sisters Hospitallers? “It is worth leaving everything for the love of Jesus and our brothers and sisters, because Jesus is the greatest treasure we can find in this life —He adds eternal value to our life.”
Thank you, Sister, for your testimony of faith and hospitality❤!
