Brother Jes\u00fas Etayo Arrondo has been elected as the new Provincial Superior of San Juan de Dios Spain, succeeding Brother Amador Fern\u00e1ndez in this role. <\/p>\n
This appointment took place during the II Provincial Chapter of the Order, held under the motto \u201cExpanding Hospitality in a Changing World.\u201d After five days of work, the Chapter concluded with the formation of the new provincial governing team \u2014 known as the Provincial Definitory \u2014 which will lead the Province for the next four years.<\/p>\n
In addition to Brother Jes\u00fas Etayo, five new Councillors have been appointed: Brother Benigno Ramos Rodr\u00edguez (First Councillor), Brother Jos\u00e9 Antonio Soria Craus (Second Councillor), Brother Juan Jos\u00e9 \u00c1vila Ortega (Third Councillor), Brother Isidoro de Santiago S\u00e1nchez (Fourth Councillor), and Brother Eduardo Ribes Argente (Fifth Councillor). <\/p>\n
The Provincial Government, the highest governing body of San Juan de Dios Spain, is responsible for guiding the mission and implementing the strategic lines for the future within its territorial scope.<\/p>\n
On behalf of our Superior General, Sister Idilia Carneiro, the General Government of the Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus extends its most sincere congratulations to the new Provincial Superior and to the Councillors who will accompany him in this new stage of service and leadership. <\/p>\n
