Every September 1, we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation\u2014a time to reflect on God\u2019s marvelous act of creating the cosmos and all that flows from it: nature, animals, and our brothers and sisters who share with us this pilgrimage that is life. This day invites us to pray for our common home and to assume with responsibility the care of all creation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Esta jornada nos invita a orar por nuestra casa com\u00fan y a asumir con responsabilidad el cuidado de todo lo creado. Este a\u00f1o, el Papa Le\u00f3n nos invita a pasar de las palabras a los hechos, pues \u00abtrabajando con dedicaci\u00f3n y ternura se pueden hacer germinar muchas semillas de justicia, contribuyendo as\u00ed a la paz y a la esperanza. A veces se necesitan a\u00f1os para que el \u00e1rbol d\u00e9 sus primeros frutos, a\u00f1os que involucran a todo un ecosistema en la continuidad, la fidelidad, la colaboraci\u00f3n y el amor, sobre todo si este amor se convierte en espejo del Amor oblativo de Dios\u00bb (Mensaje del Santo Padre para la X Jornada Mundial de Oraci\u00f3n por el Cuidado de la Creaci\u00f3n). <\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestra respuesta como Hermanas Hospitalarias<\/b><\/p>\n

As Sisters Hospitallers, we join this call with a spirit of hospitality that transcends human boundaries to embrace all of creation. In our daily mission, we seek to bear witness to God\u2019s love through the integral care of people, especially the most vulnerable, and we extend that same care to the environment, aware that our health and well-being are intrinsically linked to the health of our planet. <\/span><\/p>\n

Promovemos pr\u00e1cticas sostenibles en nuestras comunidades y centros de atenci\u00f3n, inspiradas por una fe viva que ve en la creaci\u00f3n la obra amorosa de Dios. As\u00ed, respondemos al llamado con acciones concretas que reflejan nuestro compromiso con una ecolog\u00eda integral. <\/span><\/p>\n

On this Day of Prayer for Our Common Home, we especially recall the words of Saint Benedict Menni, founder of our congregation:<\/span><\/p>\n
