In a spirit of prayer and discernment, the Province of Portugal<\/strong> has concluded its Provincial Chapter<\/strong>, inspired by the theme \u201cClothe yourselves with compassion\u201d<\/strong>. This event, guided by the renewal dynamics outlined in the XXII General Chapter<\/strong>, offered an opportunity to reflect on the mission ahead and strengthen the commitment to the values of mercy<\/strong> and hospitality<\/strong> that define the Congregation.<\/p>\n

New Provincial Government<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As a result of this process, a new leadership team has been elected to serve the Province of Portugal for the next six years:<\/p>\n

  • Provincial Superior<\/strong>: Sr. Paula Jacinta Moreira Gon\u00e7alves Carneiro<\/li>\n
  • Provincial Council<\/strong>:\n

    • Vicar and 1st Councilor<\/strong>: Sr. Maria An\u00e1lia Oliveira Antunes<\/li>\n
    • 2nd Councilor<\/strong>: Sr. Sabina Florinda da Gra\u00e7a Valente<\/li>\n
    • 3rd Councilor<\/strong>: Sr. Fernanda Maria da Silva Esteves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      A New Beginning Full of Hope<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      With this renewed team, the Province of Portugal embarks on a new phase marked by hope, dedication, and a deep commitment to hospitality. Over the coming years, the legacy of our founders will continue to inspire their mission of love and care for the most vulnerable, honoring the charism of the Congregation.<\/p>\n

      From the Sisters Hospitallers<\/strong>, we give thanks to God for this new beginning and pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen this team in their service to others.<\/p>\n
