From May 18 to 25, the Plenary Council of our Congregation was held in Palencia, bringing together the eight provincial governments and the General Government of the Sisters Hospitallers, with the participation of 36 sisters. The mission of the Plenary Council is to accompany and support the General Government in its task of encouraging the life and mission of the Congregation.<\/p>\n
The Council began with a day of mutual understanding and sharing about the reality of each province. It was marked by fraternal exchange, recognition of current challenges, and the valuable contributions each community offers to the congregational mission.<\/p>\n
In the following days, the group worked around the central theme of the meeting: the path of restructuring with a focus on revitalization\u2014aimed at rekindling the sense of mission in our consecrated life. With the guidance of Fr. Gonzalo Fern\u00e1ndez, CMF, the sisters explored the proposal of \u201cnew life in new structures\u201d as a hopeful horizon for the present of the Congregation.<\/p>\n
The participants also reflected on the historical dynamism of the Congregation, seen as a living body that transforms and grows in fidelity to the Spirit. In this light, concepts were clarified, perspectives were shared, and key guiding words for the process were defined: restructuring, sense of body, reorganization, global approach, and revitalization.<\/p>\n
May 22 was especially meaningful, as an online event was held to involve all sisters around the world in this moment of communion and discernment.<\/p>\n
On May 23, accompanied by Fr. El\u00edas Royon, the sisters reflected on spiritual and apostolic leadership as a path of hope, and on the fundamental principles of congregational leadership.<\/p>\n
This Plenary Council was a time of listening, reflection, and projection into the future\u2014always guided by the desire to continue serving through a consecrated life that is alive, united, and missionary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
