{"id":18715,"date":"2016-05-09T15:22:31","date_gmt":"2016-05-09T14:22:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hospitalarias.org\/en\/?p=18715"},"modified":"2016-05-09T15:22:31","modified_gmt":"2016-05-09T14:22:31","slug":"feast-of-st-benedict-menni-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hospitalarias.org\/en\/feast-of-st-benedict-menni-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Feast of St. Benedict Menni 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today more than ever, the words of our Founder St. Benedict Menni resonate powerfully: <em>\u201cOnward, Onward, Ever Onward\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On 24 April 2016, the new <strong>PROVINCE OF SPAIN,<\/strong> of the Congregation of the Sisters Hospitallers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be established.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The high point of this historic event in our Institution will be the celebration of the Eucharist, delivered by Bishop Jos\u00e9 Luis Redrado O.H., in Ciempozuelos (Madrid, Spain), the motherhouse of the Congregation. In attendance, representing the General Government, will be the General Mother Superior, Anabela Carneiro; the Vicar and First General Councilor, Mar\u00eda Asunci\u00f3n R\u00edopedre; and the General Secretary, Rosal\u00eda Go\u00f1i.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Fiesta de San Benito Menni 2016\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kWWkcsKo_Zo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hospitalarias.org\/index.php\/gallery\/fiesta-b-menni-2016\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"short_text\" lang=\"en\">See images<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With&nbsp; the creation of the Province of Spain, canonically cease the Provinces of Madrid, Palencia and Barcelona. Nevertheless, the establishment of the new <strong>Province of Spain will not be a cause for us to forget our history<\/strong>; our goal now is not only to continue the life and mission of the three provinces, but to renew and revitalise it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Throughout the years (70 for Palencia, 64 for Madrid, and 46 for Barcelona), God has staged a story of love, featuring sisters, collaborators, benefactors, volunteers, and the sick&#8230;<\/strong> He has accompanied us in our achievements and challenges, and today it is our turn to contemplate and give thanks.
