On February 2 we celebrate the World Day of Consecrated Life, recalling the presentation that Mary and Joseph made of Jesus in the temple “to offer it to the Lord.”

From the Sister Hospitallers we echo the motto chosen for this year is: “Life consecrated with Mary, hope of a suffering world”, in which we are reminded that “also today our Mother from Heaven continues to encourage our hope; and the consecrated participate in this mission of bringing hope to a suffering world ».

Celebrating this day, aims to help the whole Church to value more and more the testimony of those who have chosen to follow Christ closely through the practice of evangelical counsels and, at the same time, wants to be for consecrated persons, an occasion It is conducive to renewing the purposes and reviving the feelings that should inspire their surrender to the Lord.
