From July 3 to 6, Sr. Anabela Carneiro, General Superior of Sisters Hospitallers, visited the Mother House of the Congregation, located in Ciempozuelos (Madrid, Spain) to accompany the “Josephine” sisters who are ending their special period of formation, as discernment for perpetual profession.

Weaving Hospitality

This year the “Josephine” sisters are 8 and they come from different countries of Africa and Asia; who at all times have been together with the formation team made up of 4 sisters: Sr. Iwona Olesinska, Sr. Susana Martins, Sr. Mª Pilar de Miguel and Sr. Cathalina Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh.

The Josefinato is a time of intense formation for the sisters, who seek to achieve a harmonious integration between the human dimension and the spiritual dimension with their own charismatic elements. It is a personal space for deepening, reflection, prayer and for this, the formation team tries to create and facilitate an environment that favors discernment for the definitive option for Jesus.

In addition, Sister Anabela Carneiro took advantage of her visit to learn, in first person, the development of the works that are being carried out in the Benito Menni Assistance Complex, accompanied by the Superior of the House of Sister Mª Paz Galán and D. Jesús Rodríguez Managing Director from the center. He also had the opportunity to meet with the community of sisters of the “Mother House” and, especially, with our founders.
