On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the VI International Colloquium of Psychiatry of Braga, held by Casa de Saúde do Bom Jesus in collaboration with Minho University and under the patronage of the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health I welcome all participants in this Colloquium, which takes place in the School of Health Sciences of Minho University.

The general theme of this Colloquium – “Update in Psychiatry and Mental Health” – aims at fostering debate, disseminating knowledge and encouraging cooperation among all participants about issues related to clinical practice, therapeutic rehabilitation and other areas of Mental Health and Clinical Assistance.

We will have the presence of national and international prestigious scientists, scholars and practitioners, as well as your active participation, so this Colloquium can be a remarkable scientific event for all those who share an interest in Psychiatry and Mental Health.
