The Province of France of the Sisters Hospitallers Elects a New Provincial Government During the Provincial Chapter in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux

As part of the celebration of the feast of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, patroness of the Congregation, the Sisters Hospitallers joyfully announced the election of a new Provincial Government for the Province of France. This significant event took place during the Provincial Chapter, held from November 13 to 18 in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, under the presidency of the Superior General, Sr. Idília Carneiro, accompanied by Sr. Nicole Mayinga, General Councilor.

The Provincial Chapter provided a space for reflection and deeper engagement with the renewal dynamics proposed by the XXII General Chapter, paving the way for a renewed commitment to the values of mercy and hospitality that define our Congregation.

New Provincial Government

After days of discernment and prayer, the following Provincial Government was elected:

  • Provincial Superior: Sr. Léontine Ngo Mbock
  • Provincial Council:
    • Vicar and 1st Councilor: Sr. Isabelle de Bourran
    • 2nd Councilor: Sr. Andrea Calvo Prieto
    • 3rd Councilor: Sr. Angèle Marie Awizoba

A Path Guided by Our Founders

With this new leadership, the Province of France embarks on a six-year journey of service and dedication, inspired by the light of our founders and their legacy of love and care for those in need.

From the Sisters Hospitallers, we extend our best wishes and prayers to this new leadership team, trusting that, guided by the Holy Spirit, they will continue to strengthen the hospitaller mission in France.

🙏 May this new stage be marked by the commitment, mercy, and hospitality that define our work.
