The San Benedict Menni Campaign, which we launched in April for the Feast of our founder, has been awarded the prize for “Best Use of Message in an International Campaign” in this year’s edition of the International Festival of Social Advertising, known as PubliFestival.
The objective of the campaign was to communicate the identity and mission of the hospital through the life and work of St. Benedict Menni and to show how the Congregation continues to narrate the healing mission of Jesus the Good Samaritan with charity and professionalism in more than 85 social and health care centers in 25 countries around the world where we are dedicated to mental health.
The videos focus on each of the five pillars of our Congregation – service and professionalism, humanity, hospital vocation, hospital family, and women -, how St. Benedict Menni lived each of them, and how throughout a century-long history, in its stages of consolidation, expansion, and renewal, Hospitality has remained faithful to its mission.
The award ceremony took place on July 3 at the prestigious CaixaForum Madrid. Sister Isabel Santamaría, Secretary General of the Congregation, received the award on behalf of the organization.
This campaign of the Sisters Hospitallers is a reminder to the entire hospital community that, as Sister Isabel Santamaría said, “we are all protagonists of hospitality and we can put ourselves in line with the path that St. Benedict Menni traced, putting ourselves at the service of the most vulnerable and needy”.
