Sisters Hospitallers Lisbon at MOSTRARTE 2025

This June, the San José Psychiatric Clinic, belonging to the Sisters Hospitallers Lisbon, will take part in the 2025 edition of MOSTRARTE, a festival that combines art and social commitment. The event is promoted by the cultural association Boutique da Cultura, dedicated to promoting inclusion and personal development through culture, art, and education.

The Clinic’s participation is part of the joint project PROJETAR-TE, an initiative that offers those assisted safe spaces to express themselves creatively, strengthen community ties, and enhance their autonomy. Throughout the year, workshops in dance, theater, singing, and visual arts have been held, and the works created will be shared with the public at MOSTRARTE 2025.

This event will be held from June 23 to 25 and will feature public presentations of the work done during the year in these workshops:

📅 June 23: Presentation of the Choir and Dance, by the groups from the Clinic’s Voice and Dance Workshops.

📅 June 24 and 25: Staging of “Principito Redux,” an original version of The Little Prince, performed by the Theater Workshop groups.

In addition, the exhibition “RE-CRIAÇÕES,” directed by visual artist Sofía Sustelo, will be inaugurated, featuring works developed in the visual arts workshop. This exhibition will remain open until June 29 at the Boutique da Cultura cultural space.

This participation reflects the heart of the mission of the Sisters Hospitallers: to provide comprehensive care to each person, promoting their well-being, dignity, and social inclusion through art, accompaniment, and hospitality.
