Hospitality in Action: Fundación Hospitalarias Arturo Soria

Today we share the testimony of María Amores González, psychologist at the Fundación Hospitalarias Arturo Soria, part of the care network for people living with severe and persistent mental illness.

María began her journey with the Sisters Hospitallers as a volunteer at the age of just 17. Today, she is part of the Management Unit Team at Arturo Soria, working in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Division, and also coordinates the Women’s and Gender Commission.

In this video, she reflects on how hospitality becomes a daily practice in her work: accompanying, listening, and creating spaces for recovery and autonomy—especially for women experiencing exclusion, violence, and psychological suffering.
