Hospitality Europe is the liaison and representation office in Brussels for the hospitals and social-healthcare centers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God and the Hospital Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Founded in 2012 and formally established in 2014 as an international non-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian law, its mission is to serve as a bridge between our institutions and the European Union.
To strengthen cooperation among our European Provinces and facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices.
To maintain a direct channel of information and dialogue with European institutions regarding programs, policies, and opportunities in the healthcare, social, and educational fields.
Today, thanks to this office, our structures present in 14 EU countries can engage at the European level, collaborate with one another, and strengthen their mission of hospitality.
In addition, Hospitality Europe actively promotes the image and mission of the Order and the Hospital Sisters not only in Europe, but also throughout the world.
Hospitality Europe promotes the participation of our institutions in European programs and projects that foster inclusion, health, and well-being. Key areas of focus include:
Health and social care: projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people who are ill, have disabilities, or are in vulnerable situations.
Education and training:
initiatives that support the professional development of staff and volunteers.
Social inclusion and cooperation: programs that promote integration, equal opportunities, and international solidarity.
Through these projects, we not only gain access to European funding and collaborative platforms, but also strengthen our shared mission: to make hospitality present in Europe and throughout the world.
