On 30 October 2016, the new PROVINCE OF LATIN AMERICA of the Congregation of the Sisters Hospitallers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was constituted.
On 18 July 2012, the project of creating a single Latin American province began. Since then, the path to unification, which is now beginning to bear fruit, has involved hard work, meetings, accomplishments, and challenges. As a result, the three current structures (Province of Colombia, Vice-province of Argentina and the Vice-province of Brazil) in seven Latin American countries (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia) will cease to exist in an individual sense and become the Province of Latin America.
Despite the establishment of the new Province, we will not forget our history on this beautiful continent. So let us look back with this simple story.
