Message from Sister Idilia for the celebration of the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation

We celebrate the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation, grateful for its history and the many key figures who wrote it through the charismatic witness of their lives, especially our founders, and an immense community of sisters and collaborators.

We celebrate the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation, opening ourselves to the same Spirit that animated the first community and, with solid foundations, strengthened the House of Hospitality, which remains standing today in the universal diversity of its presences and mission.

We celebrate the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation in a time of Revitalization and Restructuring, living it as a second calling to return to the founding House in Ciempozuelos, to breathe the true essence of Hospitality, and to relearn the freshness of lives entirely centered on Christ and on our brothers and sisters; to let ourselves be touched and inwardly transformed by a poverty that teaches us to live in what is essential, which is Jesus, and, through Him, for our brothers and sisters.

May the protection of Mary, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the inspiring presence of our founders accompany and strengthen us on the congregational journey we are undertaking.

Happy Feast of the Foundation! Happy Feast of our Mother!

Idilia Maria Carneiro

General Superior
