With grateful hearts, we bring the 18th Plenary Council to a close after a week of deep congregational reflection. These have been days of grace, marked by reflection, communal prayer, and shared discernment.
During this intense and fruitful day, we have recognized together the call the Lord is extending to us today: to continue embodying the charism of hospitality, clothed in a heart of mercy, so that we may be true prophetic signs of hope in the midst of a wounded world.
On the closing day, we wanted to reflect on our experiences by posing a question to the sisters from the various circumscriptions:
What does this Plenary Council inspire in you as you look toward the future of the congregation?
As a beautiful gesture of trust and commitment, we made a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Fátima. There, at the feet of the Virgin Mary, our Mother and the first Hospitaller, we entrusted the path of Restructuring and Revitalization that we are called to continue walking as the Hospitaller Family.
Trusting in His protection, we continue to move forward together, open to the Spirit’s newness and committed to the mission of spreading hospitality throughout the world.
