From February 11 to 14, the Delegation of Italy experienced the concluding days of the Canonical Visit. They were days of grace, in which we gathered the fruits of the journey we have made and looked ahead with renewed enthusiasm toward the future.
After the intense pilgrimage through the communities and centers, the visit of our Superior General concluded at the Delegation House. It was not an ending, but a starting point to continue revitalizing our presence in Italy.
Reviewing Life and Mission
The days of February 11 and 12 were dedicated to the heart of our consecrated life. In meetings with the house community and the Delegation Government, we reviewed our reality in light of three essential dimensions: prayer life, fraternal life, and evangelizing mission. It was a time to return to what is essential and to strengthen the bonds that unite us.
Management and Charism
On February 13, the focus was on the structure that sustains our mission. A joint meeting was held between the General Government, the Delegation Government, and the members of the ETS Branch, the legal entity that manages the work in Italy. Later, both governments reviewed the work carried out throughout the visit, examining the archives of each area. Through this exercise of transparency and responsibility, the visit to the Delegation community was formally concluded.
Closing: Gratitude and New Challenges
On February 14, we experienced the final moment. In a fraternal meeting with all the superior sisters of the Delegation, together with the General Government and the Delegation Government, we celebrated the official closing. It was a space of encouragement and thanksgiving for the fruits received during these days. We shared the experience lived, not only to remember, but also to courageously define the challenges we are now called to face together.
Italy emerges strengthened in communion, ready to continue being a witness to Hospitality.
