At Sisters Hospitallers, Mental Health is also something we address from within. We understand that in order to care for others, we must first care for those who care.

For us, caring for our teams is not just a management strategy; it is an act of mercy. Following the vision of Saint Benedict Menni, we know that hospitality does not end with the patient. It must, above all, embrace those who sustain care from within. At our Our Lady of Guadalupe Center, as well as in other centers, we practice the “pedagogy of love”—an internal hospitality that transforms, allowing charity and science to complement each other in every gesture of care for the sick.

Our goal goes beyond workplace well-being. We seek a deep shift in the health-care paradigm.

Because when we care for the caregiver, we weave a culture that not only heals but also accompanies.

We create an environment where our professionals feel supported, valued, and spiritually nourished. Only then can we ensure that the hospitality our patients receive is an authentic reflection of what we ourselves live each day.

With more than 50 years in Ecuador, our Our Lady of Guadalupe Center embodies the charism of hospitality with the face of Our Mother in Latin America: she teaches us to see the dignity of those who have been forgotten and to offer a tenderness that restores.
