Holy Mary, Mother of God: Reflection of Peace

In the context of the World Day of Peace, we turn our gaze to St. Mary, Mother of God, symbol of peace and hope. In her maternal heart we find a safe haven and a model of unconditional self-giving that continues to illuminate the path of humanity, especially in times of uncertainty and conflict.

Pope Francis’ message for this Day invites us to open our hearts to divine mercy:

“If we allow our hearts to be touched, the Jubilee Year of grace can reopen the way of hope for each of us. Hope is born of the experience of God’s mercy, which is always boundless.”

Like Mary, we are called to be living witnesses of peace, bringing consolation, hope and love to those who need it most

Mary is not only Mother of God, but also Mother of all humanity. Her life, marked by complete trust in the divine plan, teaches us that true peace does not come from the absence of difficulties, but from the certainty that God walks beside us.

The Hospitaller mission: a reflection of Mary

In our Hospitaller mission, we find an inexhaustible source of inspiration in Mary. Her example of compassion and care for others is reflected in every act of service, in every gesture of humanity and in every word of comfort we offer to those who suffer.

Mary teaches us that every act of love is a seed of peace. By accompanying the most fragile, by listening with empathy and caring with tenderness, we are building a more just and fraternal world.
