Our Congregation launches the III International Photography Contest “WE WALK TOGETHER, IN HOSPITALITY “ The deadline for sending the photographs is from February 24th, 2022, to March 31st, 2022, both inclusive.
The purpose and theme of the photographs to be presented are to graphically capture gestures, moments, attitudes… that represent how we practice Hospitality. A global tragedy like the Covid-19 pandemic “woke up during some time the concern to be a global community that navigates in the same boat, where someone’s wrong-doing hurts us all. Let’s remember that no one achieves safety by themselves, that it’s only possible to save us altogether” (FT, n.32). This situation that, despite these difficulties, has brought us closer as Hospitaller Community, but it has also help us develop our creativity, adaptation, and overcoming to attend people, in all their dimensions, especially to those most vulnerable.
The contest is intended for any person, over 18 years of age, linked to Sisters Hospitallers, as long as they are part of the Hospitality Community, anywhere in the world where the Congregation has a presence.
Winners will be announced the week of April 24, the feast of San Benito Menni. The 3 most voted photographs will receive the following prizes:
First Prize: A digital reflex camera, valued in around €300.
Second Prize: Wireless headphones, valued around €150.
Third Prize: Smart speakers, valued at around €100.
