Today Saturday 13th, in the first part of the morning Sister Anabela presented the synthesis of the work done by the groups us. This was to finalise the presentation of the different realities of our presence in Africa.
She underlined in especial the way the group valued the first sisters who came to the African continent their dedication and generously planted the charism of hospitality. Another important aspect has been the creativity and dynamism with which the hospitaller work is performed.
In relation to the challenges we stressed on the care of our lives as Hospitaller Consecrated Women; fraternal life, testimony of the joy and formation as priorities.
We dedicated the rest of the day to the theme of the Restructuring-revitalization in the Congregation. Sr. Anabela took us through the process since 2007 until today.
We started the afternoon session with a Marian prayer focused on this time of advent. We then reflected on the restructuring process in Africa; after that we have worked in groups. We close the day sharing the work of the groups.
Bro John Oppong O.H has joined us for Evening prayers; he represented the Provincial Superior who at this moment was in Liberia.
