As every year, our mother house in Ciempozuelos has taken in a group of young juniors ready to surrender to God.

This time, the Josphines, name traditionally used to name them in the Congregation, are 7 and come from the Province of Italy and England and the Delegation of the Philippines and Vietnam. They are all united in the desire of dedicating themselves to the service of the Kingdom of God in the charisma and mission of the Hospitallers.

During the period of temporary vows that precede the Perpetual Profession, the juniors have studied Theology harmonised and integrated with the life in the Community, spiritual life and the practice of the Hospitallers mission.

This period usually lasts 5 years and its objective is to achieve integral, human, spiritual and charismatic maturity in order to definitely commit to God.

Although they come from different cultures they have in common living the Josephinate as a very special moment which in Ciempozuelos gives them the opportunity to contact the sources of the Hospitallers and prepares them to start their path because “The vitality of the Charisma, the urgent needs of the poor and the sick, spur us on, and our response must be immediate and bold”. (XX General Chapter)

Get to know each of these Young women by their Hospitaller experiences, wishes and hopes:
